1/2 cup flour
1/4 + 1/8 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup margarine
3 apples
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Peel, core and slice apples. Spread into a greased baking dish.
3. Mix flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon together in a bowl.
4. Melt margarine in microwave (about 30 seconds).
5. Add margarine to the dry ingredients. Mix until it resembles bread crumbs.
6. Spread the crumb mixture on top of the apples. Do not pack it!
7. Bake until the fruit is tender and the top is a golden brown (about 25-30 minutes).

I often add extra cinnamon (1/2 tsp.) to the apple mixture as well to give it more flavor.
